Darrell
Waltrip Memorial Walkway
For 29 years, Darrell Waltrip thrilled NASCAR audiences by
winning 84 races, three championships and the 1989
Daytona 500 under the sponsorship of Tide.
This Owensboro, Kentucky native has played an
integral role in the design and development of the
Kentucky Speedway.
The Walkway surrounds a life-size bronze statue
of Darrell Waltrip located in front of the Turn 3 Fan
Center. 2,000
personalized bricks were purchased by fans. |
